ABOUT EVE

Eve Pollard OBE is often referred to as The First Lady of Fleet Street. She was one of the first female editors of a national newspaper in the UK, editing the Sunday Mirror from 1987-1991 and the Sunday Express from 1991-1994.
In 1985 Eve was launch editor-in-chief of Elle Magazine in the US and edited the Sunday magazine for the News of the World and You Magazine for the Mail on Sunday.

OBE IN 2008

Eve was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2008 Birthday Honours.

VICE-CHAIRMAN

She has been Vice-Chairman of the women’s health charity Wellbeing of Women since 2003

DESIGNER

Eve become increasingly frustrated by the lack of stylish clothes available for older women and launched her own designer range of dresses.

LOOSE WOMAN

She has been a guest panellist on Loose Women several times and is regularly seen reviewing the newspapers.
